Hello,

the Thumbnail Icon from Event not created by me now.

In the Frontend Code
<a class="rs_event_link" href="/xxx.html">
<img class="no-thumb" width="100" alt="" src="http://localhost/xxx/components/com_rseventspro/assets/images/events/thumbs/s_LPM-Logo864.png?nocache=55c0be5c16370">
</a>
But the Images are not created. The folder have the right 755 and apache work in cgi modus.

In Detail Page is visible the Icon.

Version 1.8.23

Is this a Bug in this Version?

There is most likely an issue with your particular installation, not with RSEvents!Pro.

You are more then welcomed to submit a support ticket to our Tech department about this.

I've got the same problem. The event list (of a particular category) uses the following URL:

1. mydomainname.com/components/com_rsevents...ges/events/thumbs/s_FILENAME.PNG?nocache=55dd70a0cfeea

In the details view of a particular event, an aliased URL is used:

2. /menualias/submenualias/event-image/id-eventalias?width=big

Whereas in the backend the following URL is used:

3. mydomainname.com/index.php?option=com_rs...ocache=55dd71010f93c

Only option 2 and 3 work. Why isn't the structure of the URL the same? It's strange that the icon works in the details view, but doesn't work in the event list view.

@PMFrans,

Each event thumb has several replicas for use in various locations.

Also, at point 1, i am not sure i understand to what layout type are you referring to. Let me know the exact menu item type that you used (or how to replicate this).

So I again tested a lot.
- Joomla installed over it
- Updated from 1.8.3 to 1.8.4
- Full page Local (Xampp) again tested

Error is still there. Both the a new Item or when duplicating.
The error was not there in version 1.8.19. In to the changelog so nothing was there but changed.

Hello,

Starting from RSEvents!Pro 1.8.0 version, the event icon thumbnail can be displayed using this syntax :

yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_rseventspro&task=image&id=EVENTID&width=(small|big|integer value)

Hi all

I have same problem.
And can't figure what happens. I will make a support ticket.
Joomla 3.4.5
RSEventsPro! 1.9.7

My folder:
/mydomain/components/com_rseventspro/assets/images/events/thumbs/
is empty.

In my:
/mydomain/images/events_img/
I have all the images for my events and they are around 100KB w720*h420

In my:
mydomain/components/com_rseventspro/assets/images/events/
It seems that various versions of my images are generated and some of them might be the thumbnail? They all have different numbers appended. All images are same size in width and height and KB as original. So I don't see any image supposed to be thumbnail?

If I right click on image and open in new browser window, path is:
/mydomain/component/rseventspro/begivenhed-billede/438-gronne-sager
(It's a Danish website, I guess /begivenhed-billede/ is /event-image/)
This is a thumbnail 268px*156px, 22KB.

But why is my Events List page loading image like it was on a modem?

Best regards,
Henrik
