TOPIC: Urgent issue with RSEventsPro

Urgent issue with RSEventsPro 9 years 8 months ago #32062

Hi thereHello all,

I have an urgent issue with RSEventsPro, which is impacting my productio site.

I really hope you will have some suggestions to share!

Basically, assume a user has signed on to an invent, and its status in the subscription back-end is "incomplete". When I get to the back-end and press the "activate" button to confirm the subscription (which should send the user an email), Joomla! shows instead an error page that says

"Requested HTML document contains no data"

and then the button to bring me back to Joomla! backed control panel.

Thanks in case any of you have something to share as suggestions.

Regards Andrea.

This is most likely generated because of an improper configuration on a PDF output. You are more likely attaching to the Activation email a PDF. Please make sure that you set some content for it:

Components > RSEvents!Pro > Events > edit the event in question > Ticket layout area.

Hi Alex, as I replied to the tieckt, I also share here for the benefit of those reading:

Watch out for an empty PDF ticket ! :-)

For some reasons, the contents of the ticket disappeared, I may have made a mistake myself.
Now I have just plugged in a place holder to see the result, and this fixes the situation.
I will need to rebuild the layout now, but as far as the issue is concerned, the issue is fixed!

Again my many thanks for this!

Regards AG
