TOPIC: Locations category

Locations category 9 years 6 months ago #32784

Hello,

I need your support regarding a problem. I want to be able to arrange the locations from RSEventsPRO by categories. Is it possible to do this using the categories and articles from Joomla, but inside the article to appear the locations dates from RSEvents?
I am workinh at a website where I need to create the locations and events in 2 languages, only that in RSEvents the locations cannot be arranged by language and categories like the events.

RSEvents!Pro does not incorporate a location category classification.

Have you considered using third party multi-language tools (such as Falang for example) ?

I intend to use Joomla default multi-language component. Everything work fine in RSEventsPro except location, where the language and category component is missing.
Considering these, do you have a solution for me?

Joomla! multi-language capabilities are provided by duplicates, which is not always feasible. Personally i would use a translation extension. If you are keen on implementing the "Joomla! way", then simply create duplicates: "location 1", "translation location 1".

Is there any possibilities to use "content plugin" to show any location into joomla article, like this one for event: {rseventspro id="1"}?

The plugin is designed to display events, not locations.
