Ep. 20 - How to add article restrictions to a Joomla! membership site with RSMembership!
With RSMembership! you can impose to a Joomla! membership site 5 types of restrictions: folders, articles, sections, category, URL.
Let's see how can you add restrictions to an article following some simple steps.
Step 1:
- In the backend Joomla! panel, head to Components >> RSMembership! >> Memberships
Step 2:
- Select the membership for which you want to apply restrictions.
Step 3:
- Choose the "Shared Content" tab (the 4th tab from the left) >> Add Content
Step 4:
- In the window that just opened click on the "Content(Articles)" link and select the article that you want to restrict.
You can also set a redirect URL for users that don't have the appropriate membership.
- After applying these settings, the restricted article can be accessed only by users with an active membership.

QuoteRSMembership
Hi there,
QuoteI am currently an RSForms user and have been very happy with this product. I have a future job that will rely on Subscriptions and I have had a good look at your demo. I quickly need to clarify something. Please take a look at http://www.nursingreview.com.au/
This relies on subscriptions - thus if I click on any article within Nursing Review - I can see limited content until I subscribe or login. This is the same functionality that I am looking for - I want to offer articles that have opening paragraphs - and then a Login, Subscribe or Free Online Trial. Once the visitor pays or logs in - the rest of the article is shown. This line of Login, Subscribe or Free Online Trial needs to somehow be automated as simply as adding the 'Read More' button in Joomla. Can this be achieved with RSMemberships?
Secondly - can I import a list of current users via excel etc?
