llows you to publish files and folders on a chosen page, whether the page includes text or is a 3rd party page.

It is rather easy to use:

  • in the backend panel, choose the page where you want to publish the content of the file or folder.
  • if you want to publish the entire content of the configured download folder, use the following syntax: {rsfiles }
  • if you want to publish the content of a file, there is an extra thing that you must specify in the brackets - the path where the file is located.
     e.g.  If your file is "ipad.jpg", then you will write {rsfiles  images/ipad.jpg}
  • if you want to publish the content of a specific folder, use the same syntax as you used for files (you must specify the path where the folder is located).
     e.g. If your folder is "images", then you will use {rsfiles  downloads/images/}

What do you expect ? Of course we value the opinions and feedbacks of ouRSMembership! - Joomla! membership extension

r clients - we have released RSMembership! revision 9 which comes with new features added and improved functionality:

  • New user email texts are now configured in the RSMembership! language file.
    The reason this method was preferred over the Joomla standard user email is that if you were using automatic membership approval sometimes the link to the site was appended with the path to the Joomla administration panel that could confuse the end user.
  • Share any type of content with memberships.
    As RSMembership! users already know, for each membership you were able to share files and folders. With the new revision, you can share Joomla! articles, categories, sections and links.

Sitemaps help search engines to better understand the Joomla! site structure and also help crawlers to easier discover fresh content.

RSSeo! - Joomla! seo extension
Generating your XML Sitemap for Joomla! has never been easier with RSSeo!

Enable canonicalization first

Before submitting the sitemap to search engines, enable canonicalization to avoid errors in sitemap.

Is this step important?

Canonicalization is active when a permanent redirect exists from mydomain.com to www.mydomain.com (or viceversa), so when a user types in the browser the name of your site without www in the front, he will be redirected to the www version.
If canonicalization is not enabled, both versions of the site will be indexed with AND without www, because search engines don't know which one to pick, decreasing your search engine rank.

Today we've released RSFirewall! Revision 9, which contains a new feature: it cleans the backdoored versions of Jumi from your website. You can read the changelog here.

RSFirewall! - Joomla! security extension

Jumi is a very popular Joomla! component, some of our customers being already affected by this backdoor - so we added this security measure as an extra protection layer to keep our customers' websites safe.

As usual, we advise you to run the System Check and follow the on-screen instructions to obtain a better security rating on your website, keep passwords safe and always be up to date with the latest software versions and the latest threats.
