Disaply Event Dates on as Month/year

For an event we sometimes only know the month/year. Currently no option, other than full date m/d/y.
On display of dates in overview & detail same, no option to show only m/y

Would like to see option for month/year only and in overview in from - to dates it would only show month/year.
