We've updated the source code of our RSEvents! 2Checkout Plugin, due to several changes that the payment processor has made lately regarding the "Instant Notification Service".

The update doesn't affect the plugin configuration (the 2Checkout Id, secret word, routine and mode are still required in the Joomla! backend panel, "Plugin Manager" area) and it only addresses to the 2Checkout vendor account.

What's new?

Additionally, 2Checkout requires to enter an "Instant Notification URL" in your 2Checkout account, similar to the above example:

http://www.your_site_here.com/index.php?rse2co=1

For example, if your website domain is http://www.sell-clothes.com, you will need to enter the following URL:

http://www.sell-clothes.com/index.php?rse2co=1

We've updated the RSMembership! 2Checkout plugin to be compatible with the latest changes made by the payment service regarding the way that handles
the automated order process.

So, what's new in the RSMembership! 2Checkout plugin?

Basically, the plugin configuration remained the same: you will still be required to set the 2Checkout Id, secret word, routine and mode in the "Plugin Manager" area.

We’ve released RSMembership! revision 16 with some major new features and several usability improvements: a new payment gateway, integration with an important affiliate program, an improved shared content platform, fixed date membership expiration and many more.

1. Authorize.Net Payment Plugin

A new payment solution is available starting with revision 16, besides PayPal and 2Checkout: Authorize.NET plugin.

Apart from the general plugin parameters (the API Login ID and the transaction key generated by Authorize.NET), in the “Plugin Manager” you can add as well the tax applied to the transaction total, the tax type and the tax value.

We’ve been quite busy these days with the release of Joomla! 1.6.

RSEvents! now joins the Joomla! 1.6 component list, together with RSMail!, RSSeo!, RSFirewall! and RSFiles!.

Today we’ve released an exciting plugin addressed to all WordPress users that want to migrate their blog to Joomla!: RSBlog! WordPress Plugin. This plugin allows you to import the WordPress blog posts directly to RSBlog!

Step 1:

First, access your rsjoomla.com account and download the RSBlog! WordPress Plugin from Resources >> Customer Downloads >> RSBlog! membership >> Downloads >> Plugins >> “Import WordPress posts into RSBlog!”
